7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two kids at LFE and they've had excellent teachers each year (Kindergarten - 5th). They also have loved the TLC program there. I love the school diversity and that if kids need extra help, there are so many resources to support them. There are lots of opportunities for parents to be involved and my kids are scoring in top of nation for their grade level because teaching is excellent.Other Review2y ago28 Reviews - El Toro High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEl Toro High School has truly been a wonderful experience for our family. One of the standout features is the exceptional office staff—always professional, kind, and ready to help with any question or concern. Their efficiency and warm demeanor make every interaction smooth and stress-free.The principal sets a strong tone for the entire school community. Their approachable leadership style, clear communication, and genuine care for the students' success and well-being are deeply appreciated. It's clear that the leadership team works hard to foster a positive and supportive school culture. We’ve also been impressed by the strong athletics program at El Toro. The school offers a wide variety of sports, and the coaches are not only dedicated to building skill and team spirit, but also to helping students grow as individuals. Whether your child is in varsity competition or just exploring a new sport, there's a place for them to thrive.Another big plus is the school’s flexibility in academic pacing. Students are encouraged to move at a speed that’s right for them, with support for both accelerated learners and those who benefit from a more measured pace. It creates a comfortable learning environment where students don’t feel pressured to fit a one-size-fits-all mold.If you're looking for a well-rounded public high school with strong leadership, caring staff, a robust sports program, and a personalized approach to learning, El Toro High is an excellent choice.Parent Review11mo ago13 Reviews - Serrano Intermediate School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur son received great support from the teachers and administrators. The STEAM program is the main reason we sent our son here. We were impressed on the different assignments he received. He loves the school and we appreciate how hard the teachers worked especially during distance learning.Parent Review4y ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near 114 Summit Pointe.

"Terrible drivers, oh my goodness. Accidents happen EVERY DAY in the double digits in Lake Forest. El Toro has terrible traffic as well as Bake, Trabuco, Jeronimo, etc… it is really crammed now. What was good in 2013 is now Mini-LA in 2025. I should have left 5 years ago"

"As a resident for over 5 years, I think Lake Forest is highly underrated. There are few places in OC where you can find affordable single-family houses with big lot. Besides, it has good schools, low crime, friendly neighborhoods and a lot of trees! I can't believe people haven't found out they could get better houses for the money here than nearby expensive cities."

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 4 years now. There are shops and restaurants and lots of other amenities within a 10 block radius. Neighbors are friendly enough without being nosey. The worst thing about the lakeside community is the geese during mating season, so if that’s the only thing that can be found to complain about then you know it’s a peaceful place to live."
