"we commute to our jobs which are out of town. Mitchell is a small town..no taxi and bus is provided by a federal grant to seniors and handicapped persons. No bike paths although some sidewalks are much improved. "

"Everyone knows everyone and for the most part they are very nice! I feel safe here, I walk thru town at night with NO worries!"

"There needs to be a dog park, but the existing local parks need to be managed better. There are several excellent veterinarians in the area, and there are many groomers / boarders with excellent reputations. "
