We just completed some cosmetic upgrades on the one that is available soon and the other one doesn't show well due to some messy boys. Still, the price can't be beat for the size and amenities.
Over 1,500 square feet with plenty of room for storage. Updates over the last four years include upstairs floors, roof, furnaces, etc. I hate carpet so there are hardwood floors on both the upper and lower levels.
Upstairs features one huge bedroom and two large bedrooms with ample closet space. The main floor offers a dining room, kitchen, and living room and half bath. The basement has a free washer/dryer and tons of storage space. Bonus: Basement features super tall ceilings with tons of storage and is a walkout style for easy move!
With the high efficiency gas furnace, utilities normally average $150.00 to $200 per month. Over the last 12 months ending in the coldest winter since 1874-75, total gas heating bill was $1,052. Water and sewage was only $815. Total gas and water and sewage averaged $155 per month or $52 per person with 3 people. Add in electric and garbage your running about $400 per person for rent and utilities excluding cable T.V and internet.
This is a great area if you enjoy the convenience of urban living. Bus line to 4th is 1 block up the street at Jacks Mobil Gas Station. Burrito Union is only 2 blocks away.
The Positively Third St Bakery is across the avenue and the Super One/Jimmy Johns/Rose Garden is two blocks down the street. While there is no off street parking, I've never had a problem finding a parking spot.
Please note that pets are considered on a case-by-case basis (I've got pet horror stories if you are wondering why). Background check fee is $30.00 per adult and you may need a letter of guarantee if you have no rental history or credit.
