8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn 2012, Barbara Bush was listed as one of the top 10 Nation school’s, not anymore. It’s not even on the top 20 Nations list the last I looked. It’s overrated which had changed the school’s main focus; an equal education for all levels of students. The pandemic has allowed me to see their priorities and goals. Leadership is driven by the school principal who has been there for years. She is professional and very matter of fact, but lacks humbleness. The leadership staff has been trained to show no emotions (empathy) and their top priority is bringing up the school’s ranking and being on the top. The meaning of education has been forgotten and working with parents who are concerned on their child’s education is not extended here and simple requests seem like a burden. The teachers report to the principal and this is a school that looks good on the teacher’s service record, resume. They do not help parents who ask for help; you have to be in a good ranking here to be acknowledged. The interest should be for our children efforts, the school is overrated and the culture here does not represent the true meaning of education.Parent Review2y ago - Westside High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is by far the worse experience that my daughter and myself have experienced. The Deans and Principals are not trust worthy. The Principals do not care about the students well being. My daughter was assaulted on this school premise. We are frustrated, and emotionally and mentally affected by this entire situation. My daughter have attended this school for three years now and this will be her last year. I tried to speak to the Dean, and Principals: I was denied and refused to speak with the Principals or to resolve any issues. I am new to this city and I expected a better example of what this community demonstrates. Bullying and assaulting any child should never be tolerated. I ran to to school numerous times to deal with this bullying situation and no one helped in any kind of way. No one ever asked my child was she okay the day of the assault or when she returned! Parents should be allowed to be heard to gain a resolution. Children should feel safe at school. No child should be bullied, looked over or left behind under any circumstance. To any parent they may be interested in this particular school West Side High please be careful many situations are swept under the rug. The school is big and nice however the Principals, Deans /Staff could improve on how they administrate to their students.Parent Review2y ago - West Briar Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is 8th grader. Been there 3 years and our experience has been nothing but positive. I interacted with the teachers there on numerous occasions and they all been very helpful and professional. The new principle is doing a great job in creating a good and safe environment for the kids. Job well done!Parent Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 1131 Sopris Dr.

"I have lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years. We are the original owners of our home. Homes in our neighborhood are all custom builds, from several different builders. We love that the neighborhood is in a great location, within walking distance from so much.
