"The schools are small but that allows for teachers and staff to really go the extra mile for the kids. "

"It is a small town and a lot of people know each other. My husband grew up here and he still knows a lot of people even though he has been gone for 20 years."
  • Haileylparish01
"A genuine town and has nice neighbors with a great school. Family-friendly and loving. Small town and everyone knows each other "
  • Steve H.
"Nice area close to the Arkansas River with great fishing and hunting. Black top county road to the farm."
  • Reallady1965
"Beautiful country and not over crowded with traffic and people! Off the beaten path and provides lots of time to sit down, relax, take in the views and enjoy wildlife just outside our home! We once saw a buck deer that had a rack so large that he had to brace his neck/head as he walked---- Bambi's daddy for sure----amazing, will never forget the site! We have bald eagles and a wide variety of other birds and we're always amazed at the nightly calls of the coyote familys. It is always nice to smell the fresh hay after a cutting and the bales of hay that fill up the fields always brings home that all out country feeling! A beauty of nature that everyone should take the time to appreciate! If you like serene, country settings where you can enjoy a sunset and be who you want to be....this area is right! Schools are small and old fashioned....everybody knows everyone! School dances and school events that have the small town feel to them."
