I am amazed with this High School. All positives and praises for it. it is Highly competitive, demanding and very focused school that brings best of the students. It is not good for those who are scared of competitions and challenges - they may find it tough to sustain themselves. Most of kids very high scorers in SAT and ACT. Proven track records of this gives very confidence like studying at Harvard or MIT.

This school is just not good. I have witnessed bullying happen multiple times, yet all the staff and teachers say there’s not bullying at this school. I have been called the n word multiple times and to be honest showing up to this school just becomes draining after a bit. I would genuinely beg my mom to stay home because I DID NOT want to go. The counselors are nice but don’t help at all. We always get served the same food and it got to point I just stopped eating lunch. The only perk about this school is that there’s recess, or team time. But they aren’t required to give it to us so they can take it away any time.

We have seen this school go from a 6 rating to a 9 rating and it has been a fantastic experience. My son loves the school and his teacher, and there is a lot of parent involvement. He only has 15 kids in his class which is a great size and we have become friends with the parents of some of his classmates. The principal, Mrs Lovett, is extremely hardworking and very accessible. We love the year-round schedule, and all the kids seem to be really thriving. This school has definitely changed my opinion about public school, that is for sure! I really don't have much to complain about and we are very thankful our son can attend Laurel Park.
