4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAdministration is hostile when you have questions. Poor professionalism in front of students by Dr. Moore and teachers/guidance counselors do not like to be bothered. They become defensive if called out for not following IEPs and rather shame you than form a partnership.Parent Review6y ago - Norwayne Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has teachers who act like they are the same age as the students. Kids don't need to know what their teachers did when they were young. Teachers are always absent. Some teachers are good, but some are bully's. The Principle is a bully himself. He doesn't like parents to help unless he asks. He is very demanding with is "its his way or the highway" attitude. If you are new to the community expect the family that has been here since birth to be chosen for all the awards and picked to play sports. Its a small town "who you know" type of school. The whole school district is this way. If you have a complaint you can go to the school board all you want and nothing will be done. Out of all the schools my children have attended the schools in Wayne County are by far the worst!Other Review8y ago - Northeast Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has gone downhill and I have had hopes of it getting better. Administration is terrible. You have to “work there” to make sure your child gets treated and taught properly and equally. My child is not the same child she was excited to go to school. She has a teacher switch every year and nothing gets communicated like it should. Their teacher turn over rate is ridiculous and all because of the admin. If admin has no control over their teacher of course kids are going to start showing behavior changes. If you dont like kids then dont work there! Kids get talked down terribly and some teachers have no understanding for children with adhd!Parent Review2mo ago - Wayne Early / Middle College High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the best school ever. My child attends this school and it is really phenomenal. They take honors high school classes and college classes at the same time. They really are a smart bunch of caring kids.Parent Review13y ago - Wayne School Of Engineering At Goldsboro High School

"Less wandering dogs than 2 years ago. There were dogs that would wander the neighborhood and into my yard. I have 2 small dogs that stay with me when I am outside and are not allowed to leave the yard. These last 2 years, there is better control of wandering dogs. I live at a very busy intersection and would hate to see an animal get hit by a vehicle "

"It’s not unique. Most of the homes are well cared for and from the 50s or before. Immediate neighbors are friendly. Many pedestrians during the daytime. Quiet at night. Ages quite varied here from early 20s to mid 80s. Fire and EMS services close by and grocery store 5-6 blocks away. Off street parking for most homes. Low crime in this neighborhood. "
