7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHendrix is a school like no other. When my daughter enters the building all she sees are smiles and all she hears are good mornings and we are so glad that you are here today. She loves going to school and I love sending her to Hendrix. The atmosphere at this school is like no other atmosphere you will find at any other school. She is loved and respected. She feels safe and is safe at Hendrix. Hendrix is a family. The academics are top notch. Teachers work tirelessly making sure that every student is learning to their full potential. There are great academic supports in place for every child, from children who have disabilities to children who are gifted and talented. Parents are highly encouraged to be involved in every area of their child’s education. My daughter loves all of the extracurricular activities. These activities include dance and Spanish. Hendrix embraces the whole child and this school is making a huge difference in the life of my daughter.Parent Review1y ago - Boiling Springs High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI recently retired from BSHS. I taught for 44 years in SC, the last 17 at BSHS in the English Department. There is no other faculty greater than those who teach at BSHS. They are trained in the most current research based instructional strategies, they are caring, supportive of the administration, knowledgeable of their content, and believe the needs of our students are their first priority. These are just some of their qualities. We have MANY clubs and organizations as well as special clubs on Wednesday for all students and these clubs were created when our concern was that the student body was growing and we wanted every student to have a personal connection with an adult at our school. I taught kids how to make friendship bracelets! I always had at least 40 kids in attendance. Our principal Zach McQuigg and his administration team are smart, proactive , strong communicators and have high expectations for their faculty, support staff, and students! Lots of opportunities for kids to get involved, a good selection of AP courses, and an outstanding Fine Arts Department!Other Review7mo ago - Boiling Springs Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a current seventh grader at BSMS and I do not enjoy this school. I moved from Pennsylvania to this school which was a big culture shock to me. People didnt welcome me kindly! Also the curriculum isn't good! I am learning everything that I learned last year again! I am in honor classes and the education is still very slow. Some of the teachers are good at what they do but many don't know what they are doing! I wouldn't recommend this school! There are so many fights at this school and many other things go on that shouldn't be happening in middle school! I get bullied constantly and the teachers/staff don't do anything about it!Other Review10y ago - Boiling Springs Intermediate School
