My child was bullied from day one at this school! Teachers, Guidance counselors nor principle did anything to stop it! Kids are killing themselves these days over being bullied. This HAS TO BE ADDRESSED!!!!! I am currently looking into putting my child into a new school! My child fought me everyday to go to school! I hate that my child felt that way. They need to come out with a solution for bulling! This is a serious issue!

If I could rate Suitland HS with zero stars, I would. 2 of my daughters attended Suitland, at different times, and they both had horrible experiences there. I constantly had to deal with being told what "these kids" do, while discussing my children. The staff lacks professionalism, compassion, and concern. Everything going on in the school is based on discipline and punishment. They are not there supporting the kids as they should be. It almost comes off like they're expecting the children to fail or setting them up to fail. Both of my daughters took nothing good away from their high school experience at Suitland. If you have any alternative, do not enroll your child there.

This school has it’s ups and downs but the biggest thing is the students and staff of the schools they have good education for the students the teachers are a hit or miss some of them are nice some are not the admin are pretty good at having an understanding with the students and give the necessary discipline for actions the safety of the school is questionable the reason I say that is because the school doesn’t have mental detectors and they really don’t check the students bookbags. Even though they have clear book bags kids can put things in their pockets or socks or whatever so the safety can be better overall the school is okay it’s not bad but it’s not good either.
