"Not a lot of grassy areas but lots of sidewalks..... Other pedestrians are usually friendly also....."
  • Gabeangulo65
"No sidewalks in most places and no streetlights. Not much family entertainment. Stores keep shutting down "
  • Cz7f85mmwh
"Not a bad neighborhood in any sense. Everyone keeps an eye out for the others in the neighborhood and speaks to each other. "
  • Sarah F
"Ferndale area - Safe neighborhood. Long term residents, 16+years. Friendly people, always out walking, some with dogs, some with kids. Good place to grow up "
  • C85z2vmvm7
"This is a safe neighborhood. We have a ball park, a dog park. Sidewalks and a gated entrance. I highly recommend it. "
  • Sarifleming93
"The Ferndale neighborhood is a safe, fun and friendly neighborhood. Everyone takes care of their homes, holidays are always lively, people are good at making sure roads and sidewalks are clear of snow during the winter and there are ALWAYS folks out on walks. "
  • Sarah C.
"Lots of local businesses support, we have parades down town throughout the year, third Thursday and farmers markets on Saturdays"
  • Danny Lee
"I have no idea I am in a rural area. Oregon isn’t what used to be people litter. I hate that the fines should be much heavier. Maybe they wouldn’t do it. however, southern Oregon is beautiful and much more quieter than the concrete jungles of California. I love it here. "
  • John944t
"It is a distance to Walmart. but there are a few places closer for emergency supplies. Most stores are clustered in town along the main routes. "
  • Zmathew25
"Christmas lights during December light up the whole town, during Halloween you have 90% of the town decorated to a T"
  • Parchmad
"Folk here think it’s okay to allow dogs to roam free. Poop and pee to in your yards and not pick up. They also have animals that chase your children into the home. "
  • Michellerene92599
"This neighborhood is rite in the middle of town. Easy access to grocery stores, walk in care centers, down town and public transportation."
  • Leah W.
"Klamath Falls has a very up and coming downtown! The town feels safe in the right area. There are many great parks to explore."
  • Zmathew25
"It’s a very nice town but there are some people that need to be watched with more care. Town is lovely and a sight to see"
  • Martha M.
"I like that the police station and fire station are right around the corner. It makes it feel safer for my kids and I. "
  • Mary K.
"Some of the people are really nice. They keep their yards neat and tidy. It is a low crime area kinda out in the country. No sidewalks, or transit but peaceful enough. Not to far from town. I do live here. "
  • Valerie B.
"It’s great not too many tweakers!!!!! It’s great!!! And the deer eat all our flowers and vegetables!"
  • Athenadancer
"There are a large amount of dogs. not all of them are well trained. most houses have a well fenced in back yard"
  • Cynthiabennett41
"all the stray cats in the neighborhood, but they would like being this close to Double C dog training"
  • Mccoybecky4
"There is great access to public transportation to anywhere in town. It takes me maybe 8 minutes to get to work. "
  • Kara R.
"I feel like I'm living in the country but also in the middle of the city. I have neighbors with chickens on one side of me, horses on the other side and baby goats behind the backyard. But I can hear some city noises and I'm only a couple blocks away from shopping and parks. "
  • Diana W.
"Commute is good. Early morning school traffic can be tedious. Great way to get coffee. Really don’t have a lot more to say."
  • Rachel M.
"I see people walking their dogs all the time and there is a dog park area near by that is used for running dogs too. "
  • Dean J
"Multiple schools in close vicinity, mostly young families and college kids. Very close to the bike path. Walking distance to Albertsons "
  • Barbeedayna
"All dogs are confined or on leash. Big acre lots and lots of room to run. No loose dogs and all are well behaved."
  • Shaya W.

"snowflake festival!! there is always something to do here, you just gotta pay attention, alot is word of mouth, and will lead to fun or learning new things"
  • Imawyland2
"We have lived here for three years and we don’t let our kids play out front. Our neighbors get broken into regularly but they are not exactly law abiding citizens. "
  • Andrew A.
"People walk their dogs here a lot. Some areas are better for it than others. Walking trails and paths are better for it. People don’t pick up after their pets. Parks here aren’t good for animal owners."
  • Jennie H. w.
"I have lived in this neighborhood for almost 20 years. we live on a farely quiet dead end rd where kids can play outside and ride bikes and neighbors can be trusted. we dont plan on moving anytime soon"
  • LaVonne M.
"we have lived here for two years both homes we have lived in we have redecorated and owner has sold property for three times what he paid for them. we are looking for a rental until we are able to buy our own. all homes around us have followed us in redoing their homes which I'm sure has raised the resale value for the neighborhood. "

  • Sharon R.
"Everything in the Basin is close. 5 miles or less. Good by-pass to get around quicker. Not too bad on shopping or events. "
