"I have owned this property since 2008. It is quiet, clean, safe and family friendly. We are surrounded by trees, ponds and trails. It’s an awesome place "
  • Zantina Weaver
"Terrible. I commute to north Seattle. It takes an hour and a half to get there in the mornings. I get off late though so it’s only 30 minutes to get back home "
  • 5hfct8xkf7
"Not a lot of kid friendly community projects. As a parent I have never thought of Kent as a family safe zone…however, there are certain areas that I have lived in located on the outskirts of the city limit that are family friendly. "
  • Zantina Weaver
"I commute to Seattle so it’s terrible but commuting south is not as bad. It takes about an hour for me to get to Seattle but only 25-30 minutes to get to federal way when I get to work over there. "
  • Sharee wyman
"Kids and summer!! When the sun comes out so do the families of coho creek neighborhood!! The creek in the back and trails behind the neighborhood is just an added bonus!! Best neighborhood I have ever lived in. If our lease wouldn’t have ended we would still be there "
  • Christopher Guzman
"Not too bad. I only work a couple miles away from home. I leave before the traffic gets bad. The traffic cameras are making me broke. "
  • Christopher Guzman
"I’ve lived here for three years and it’s a very ideal neighborhood to live in. Convenience to stores, restaurants and Seattle I love it here. "
  • Trulia User
"all in all, a nice place to live the parks are wonderful, not to mention the schools just can't beat this place "
  • Trulia User
"Two really great parks in this neighborhood. I grew up going to scenic hill elementary and loved it. Love how community centric it has become in recent years. "
  • Trulia User
"safety, well lead. clean park s trails. close to markets, bussiness. near airport. no HOA fee. great yard. no aligator near by. Great for children or elderly."
  • Trulia User
"I've lived here for 5 years. it's a great neighborhood aside from the construction across the street"
  • Nicole
"Kent/East Hill-Meridian has a lot of communities along busier streets, so factor this in before buying. There are lots of conveniences nearby, such as grocery stores and restaurants."
  • Solangesylvester9
"In Kent there are cornucopias, local farmers market every year, nearby movie theaters, restaurants, grocery store, nail salons, shops, dance studio "
  • Tabuhenta
" Neighbor are good i feel safe. Nothing to worry about. I let my kids play outside and I didn’t event worried about them because I know everyone in this neighborhood . So yeah I live here for 6 years now seems like everyone else is here are family"
  • Jeff W.
"My commute is nice and short at the moment. Just over 2 miles to work with 5 stop lights on the way. "
  • Brittane C.
"east hill used to be pretty nice and dangerous now you see alot of drug addicts and homeless people, you hear gun shots and that never used to be like that now its not as safe feeling as it used to be."
  • Efnjf99
"Not a great neighborhood. Clean enough and can be safe if you stay away from some and be very aware of your surroundings. "
  • Sister S.
"My work is 11 miles from where I live, if you leave after 6:30 am it’s a 25 min commute. Same with coming home. After 3, 20 to 30 min commute on side streets. If you get behind a school bus might as well park your car and start walking, it will be quicker."
  • Leticia P.
"It’s a wonderful and peaceful place to live. Area is affordable and plenty of shopping stores around. I would love to continue to live in this area. Friendly neighbors and pet parks nearby. I haven’t come across any high crimes in my neighborhood. "
  • Terry.bonet
"Kent has a good community parks program with events throughout the year. We have a large park in our neighborhood that lots of people use for walks/jogs and there is a children’s park and basketball area. "
  • Mitch_kathy92
"This is a great neighborhood of diversity. There are many people of differing ethnic backgrounds that live here and they practice their customs as well as their faith. "
  • Jacqueline.dehart
"There are small pockets that are ok but most of it has high crime and is in bad condition. The schools aren’t great, the stores have problems and aren’t safe. I don’t walk alone, I don’t let my children outside unsupervised, even in our fenced yard. "
  • Terry.bonet
"Public bus rout on Main Street. Lots of back ways to get up North towards Seattle. I drive 45 minutes to Downtown Seattle. "
  • Tabuhenta
"People are good and the manager . I feel saved every time I walk.. no one bothered me .and that’s why I loved it here...."
  • Mantiopie
"Kent is a great place to live overall, pick a neighborhood closer to Covington area for a safer environment."
  • Yup.
"Seeing drug deals on corners is the regular now. Homeless people with signs on most corners. Covington is nice for shopping, Kent is next to it for cheap rent "
  • Richard T.
"They have a nice dog walking path where the dog can walk and a dog park. And lots of places to walk your dog and where your dog can play"
  • Dezzysmom
"They just built a brand new YMCA right down the street. It is in walking distance from where I live. There is lots of kids in the neighborhood that will benefit from this YMCA."
  • C. N.
"I've lived here for a few years and like it. It is convenient, close enough to everything without feeling like you're stuck in a big city. "
  • HB
"Really no place for dogs . And if you want your cat to live DO Not Let IT out.yes they did aloe pit bulls. But watch out they will charge you a lot for your dog and cat and if they think you don’t pick up your dog or cat poo it’s 100$ or more per poo. And say goodbye to your deposit. Because you have any animals you places is ruined."
  • Karl S.
"A diverse neighborhood of family friends and a real sense of community. A great neighborhood to raise children and family. A great place to work."
  • Nancy C.

"I would to see a good dog park ! Ok I love it here but it is getting to busy around here. Thank you "
  • Stanley A.
"Close to trails and parks. Easy commute utilizing the Sounder Train and Bus system. People are friendly. Windward Cove is a nice quiet community "
  • Janelle B.
"It’s in the country so most dogs just run around on their owners property. I almost never see people out walking dogs because the county roads aren’t really pedestrian friendly "
  • Jennifer H.
"Many young couples introduce themselves to me and introduce their children as well. This neighborhood is becoming increasingly family oriented and I am really enjoying it!"
  • Elizabeth B.
"there is a huge natural park next door to our neighborhood. and lots of other dogs to play with in the park. large open fields and jogging trails. homes have large backyards"
  • Mary Knodel
"There aren't many places for the dogs to get exercise unless you own or rent a house, unlike Seattle . Kent. has very busy roads and fast drivers I know of multiple people who had their dogs ran over while crossing the street with heir dogs leashed."
  • Ltbarham
"A lot of people want to touch your dog and a lot of people have cats so if you’re pet is not friendly then don’t let them touch it and keep your dog away from people’s cats because that will be a horrible confrontation."
