9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageToo many teachers without a passion for their profession coupled with a lack of admistrative oversight is a recipe for disaster. A once high perfoming school system providing students with many opportunites has been replaced by one that is a shell of its former self. Staff complacency and administrator complacency run rampant. You will be okay if your child is an accelerated academic student, many others will fall through the cracks. It’s still going through some transition being a new school - awkward phase. The homework was a bit excessive for a 1st grader in my opinion. I got nice teachers, I made great friends, I go to fun specials (including learning to play an instument! I picked the trombone), And everyone is so nice! I wish it was more than 2 years.
