Neighborhood Description:
Upscale neighborhood situated on the edge of developing area. New homes like this home built up against high mountain prairie at over 7200' elevation. Black Forest (a large Ponderosa Pine area) is immediately north of us. Due to the rolling foothills of the neighborhood and surrounding areas the views of Pikes Peak are fairly good, but get significantly more impressive as you move further west toward the north side of CoSpngs. In terms of the neighborhoods accessibility to the rest of the greater Springs area and nearby shopping, the area is far enough off the beaten path that its hardly overwhelming. The nearest shopping area is 5 miles due south on Meridian Rd where there is a Walmart, Safeway, fast food, banks and a few local eateries. We like being somewhat isolated from the rest of the area and we like being slightly off the beaten path. Seriously, if you look eastward from the location of this neighborhood, you won't see a thing - its literally the edge of civilization. The bang for your buck is pretty amazing out here - if you have a bigger family and need value and square footage with a nice house, you should check it out. We love it here.
