  • Sharmel S.
"This area is very nice. I live in Fordham Terrace., until you walk across University into Fordham. Then youll see a lot of activity you may not be comfortable with. There are a lot of Hills and Parks. The major shopping areas are Fordham and Riverdale. Fordham has more of the major stores. But if you want to avoid a lot of traffic and lessen you chance of getting mugged you might want shop on Riverdale. "
  • Trulia User
"Not to bad, just a little over populated. Commuting is easy though. A lot of different way to commute. Buses, subways & cabs. "
  • Trulia User
"No one picks up after themselves. Garbage everywhere and people hangout blocking door ways all the time"

"A lot of traffic in this area. Also there’s a lot of hills to walk up and the stores are on an extremely busy street. "
  • Evande1000
"My co-op does not allow dogs. But people let dogs roam free in the park and do not pick up after them."
  • Phattygitlmd32
"It’s dog friendly but not clean. Lots of other dogs to play with and lots of parks and open space for them to run. "
  • George G.
"There are great parks in proximity and there is easy access to multiple public transportation lines. Lots of restaurants a few short minutes away. "
  • Cdrmorena
"I love that it’s near major highways and you can access it locally as well. Parking is horrific! Gotten really bad over the years"
  • Juan M.
"There is some crime and loud noise during the afternoon's and evenings. Devoe park and restaurants in the area tend to be rowdy. This area will hopefully improve overtime, but that time can't come fast enough. "
