Improving: This school has a lot of potential for excellence now that a new administration has been implemented. In the future, communication between parents and teachers will likely improve if school district administrators require teachers to be more accessible. Teachers that respond to emails and participate in parent-teacher conferences are helpful to parents as it enables them to work as a team rather then in silos. It is hopeful that teaching methods, books and overall building wear and tear will be updated in the near future. Curriculum improvements might include more learner led and project based type of differentiated learning activities. Repetitive busywork, worksheets and excessive homework drills might be replaced with more interactive, high interest content. Also, a stronger emphasis in differentiated instruction and teacher rotation are key steps in creating life-long learners! Currently, I would recommend this school for mainstream direct- instruction regular-ed learning types. Lots of football players and team spirit in this school! 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Palmyra K-12 and just graduated from Penn State and felt more then prepared for what I encountered in their business program. Palmyra was great and I am very thankful for it. The teachers are nice and care for their students and there is an underdog mentality that helps to bring people together. "We live at Shongum Lake. Best place to live in Randolph. Lots of events. Also kids out in the street playing, riding bike, shooting hoops, people out walking, running and taking dogs for walks. Very active community. Great trails all round for walking and mountain biking. "

"I have lived in Palmyra all my life. It is a quiet town with friendly neighbors. We are starting to get new neighbors in our neighborhood. The older ones are moving into smaller homes. It’s a quiet neighborhood to start a new family."
