7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSmall school experience has pros and cons. Pro is that the staff KNOW the students. Not just the student's teacher, but many teachers know all of the students, engage with them, lots of communication. Cons, one class per grade (mostly) means your student is 'stuck' with the same kids year after year. Limited opportunity for relationship growth. The programs are wonderful. Learning agriculture, harvesting, caring for animals, cooking, STEM projects. Very hands on. The PTO is small and needs more parent involvement but they do A LOT for the school. Many teachers go above and beyond for the students and school enrichment. Librarian is wonderful. If you take the time and engage with the school, pay attention to what your child is doing, volunteer and be a part of your student's school life, you will reap rewards from this school experience.Parent Review4y ago - Mingus Union High School
