4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child will be graduating this year and I wanted to put in a review of the experience I had with the school for the last 3 years. The school has many classes available for kids of all levels. If your child wants to be challenged there are AP, Honors classes they can take and dual enrollment in some of the colleges. The principal and teachers are very caring and hardworking. You will see the principal around the school and in the mornings greeting the kids as they come in. All grades are updated on the parent portal , so you can see how your child is doing in their classes. The guidance dept puts in a lot of effort to get the kids ready for college and they always got back to me with any questions I had about classes needed and college applications. There are a lot of clubs and activities for the kids to get involved in during the year. They only thing I would like to see are some upgrades to the inside of the building. This is a very diverse population of students and if you are involved in your child's education this school has a lot to offer. I believe my child got a good education and positive experiences that will last a life time.Parent Review5y ago5 Reviews - Woodbridge Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has very caring teachers. For the most part the kids are good, just one problem. It is old and it shows. In one room there is mutiple holes in the floor. In the basement floor in almost every room there is pipes everywhere. Thankfully in March there is going to be a vote to see if the people want to renovate the school and make it more up to date.Student Review9y ago8 Reviews - Ross Street Elementary School

"Although Woodbridge is slowly upcoming, it still needs a lot of work. The downtown needs work, it is so outdated , it needs better restaurants and walkable useful businesses . "

"Where I live, the train station is across the street as well as bus stops all around the downtown Woodbridge neighborhood. Multiple access points as well as free bike rental services provided by the township of Woodbridge."

"Well maintained sidewalks for walking the 🐕. Traffic is generally not heavy and streets are well lit. I'm not sure about pet shops but there's a mall 5 minutes away. "

"Everything is close by. Wegmans is a great store. Lowe’s, home goods, woodbridge mall, everything is in the vicinity. Great public transport to new york"

"The town has a real sense of community and family. But we feel there are not many neighborhoods but rather every street is a cross road so there’s always someone speeding down the streets. Because of the train station here they are building high rise apartments all over so it will be overcrowded very soon. "

"Some owners take their dogs off leash at local parks. Or they walk up to you with their dog saying their dog likes to play. I don't think this is ever a good idea because it's unpredictable when dogs decide they want to attack. "

"There are lots of dogs that people walk and people seem to look out for dogs. My dogs have taken themselves on walks a couple times and good neighbors have brought them home. I have done this for others as well. "

"I've lived here for 5 years. The area is getting progressively worse, but since it's close to the train to NYC people have flooded in and commute. I'm trying to move to a better township, one that is more considerate to the environment and each other. "

"We’ve lived here since 2002. The neighborhood is diverse with working professionals and families large and small. There is pride of ownership evident in the homes here. We are walking distance to the NJ Transit train station and a short drive from many great restaurants and shopping malls. Not to mention a Lowe’s and a Wegmans right in town. "
