6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Hardin Valley a few years back and it was a great experience but it has gone downhill. With the new principal and staff my siblings have faced discrimination. Recently I went to the school and encountered a rude office staff. I wasn’t aware one couldn’t bring drinks from the outside and she gave me attitude about it, when I had told her I didn’t know. She proceeded to say “she wasn’t going to allow it” and looked down on me for not knowing. Before office staff were so nice and kind, now everything is changing.Other Review1y ago - Check out schools near 10604 Bitteroot Way.

"The city as a whole has becoming increasingly “sketchy” throughout. It still has good parts but even those areas are not as good as what they were 8 years ago. I’d suggest doing some strong research."

"Someone tried to break into our house once while we were home. And raccoons tear up our garbage bins every week. Lots of homeless people waking around and speeding cars "
- Danyel Henley

"We live on the water and we get to see a lot of boats/yachts go by. We are also close to campus so there is still a youthful vibe to the neighborhood. Knoxville has some of the best sunsets around, and being so close to downtown has made it easy to socialize. I would recommend better access to public transportation, but aside from that, this is a lovely place to live."
