These are the assigned schools for 106 Main St #2.
- Main Street School School (4 5)

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has very low academic standards. We are parents with three children in the school district, and although we loved the discipline the principal instilled at Dows Lane, and we think the Middle School is reasonable, we think Main Street School is extremely lax around children discipline and there is no accountability for students' actions. There are no consequences for students that are rude/disrespectful to teachers and/or other students. Teachers vary greatly and although there are some gems in this school that deserve all the praise, there are also some chronic profiteers that are here just to clip a paycheck and go home. That leaves those students with sub-standard teachers completely unprepared for middle school (and high school).Parent Review1y ago - Irvington High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEducation has went down a lot, the teachers just don't care to actually teach and be respectful anymore. This school has went down the drain, it's a shame to see it occur. I would rate this school 0 stars if I could. Athletes are still praised in classes even though they aren't quite good in a classroom or on the field. The sports teams get worse and worse every year, exactly like the education, and the faculty and staff get ruder by the year too.Parent Review1y ago - Irvington Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would give it a negative review. This administration is a joke!! Coming off mask mandates, remote instruction. My child had an injury in school that will require surgery and being out of school for almost 3 weeks. This administration refuses remote learning and is determined to do the absolute bare minimum required by the state. 2 hours from a tutor who is not associated with the district other than a contract for hire. This child needs all the help available and will get next to nothing. Too worried about critical race theory than making sure students get what they need academically!!Parent Review2y ago - Dows Lane (K 3) School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school will continue to slide in the rankings until they are able to appoint a tough principal who can keep the teacher body in check and enact change where needed (reward the good teachers and reprimand the under-performing ones with the potential to dismiss those, etc.).Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 106 Main St #2.
