"The main road is closed for music festivals, and seasonal events which usually include food and other vendors."
  • Trulia User
"Edgewater events on holidays and plenty of restaurants and small town feel to most of the residents. There is the jazz fest, the Christmas celebration and plenty of other events "
  • Jennifer Pontes
"There are good sidewalks to walk your dog in this neighborhood. The lake area is also nice to walk your dog around."
  • Trulia User
"We feel secured here. we can walk around the lakes with no fear. College Park is a great place to live. I highly recommend this neighborhood. "
  • Trulia User
"A wonderful place to live! Close to a lot but also feels private. Safe neighborhood to go for walks to the park or just around the block. Lots of local restaurants that are in walking distance as well. Traffic is not that bad either and usually can get most places conveniently."
  • Trulia User
"I’ve lived here since 2013 and we love it here and most things within walking — post office Publix restaurants shopping personal help like hair nails gyms"
  • Trulia User
"20 miles to work. I drive on the 4 freeway so not exactly ideal but it could be worse. In Los Ángeles I had a 30 mile commute"
  • Trulia User
"Many friendly people walking their dogs and everyone picks up after their dogs. All dogs are leashed while on walks and everyone seems to be very respectful of space while on walks as well"
  • Trulia User
"None that I can think of. People keep to themselves for the most part. Everyone is very private in College Park. "
  • Trulia User
"Some streets only have one side with a side walk. Besides that super dog friendly. They even have places to grab poo bags. "
  • Trulia User
"People love to walk their dogs and wave to you. I have not seen any issues with dog owners. Some lawns have signs to say pick up after your dog to encourage a clean lawn etc. A lot of stray and house cats outside too. Beware of coyotes at 3am type of hours. "
  • Kotonechan
"lots of kids, very family friendly. close to several playgrounds as well as an elementary, middle, & high school. I grew up here and moved back and still love it! "
  • Donna G.
"Family neighborhood! Feel very safe and at home! What more can I ask for in a community that I love? "
  • Fernando A.
"Great schools Great neighbors Next to downtown without the noise Best hospital in Florida next to it Great parks Best value in Orlando "
  • Candy H.
"I absolutely love taking my dog out for a walk in this neighborhood, day or night. The homes are beautiful, the sidewalks are well maintained and lit, and everyone is so friendly! You’ll find many people going for walks, jobs, runs, bike rides, you name it!"
  • Angleina3274
"It has a charming small town feel in a big city. College park is a great neighborhood to raise children and grow old. "
  • Britney R.
"Great neighborhood, safety is key and I don’t have to worry about it since I’ve moved here, my favorite part of it it’s that all my neighbors wave at me from far when we see each other on our drive ways. "
  • Heather W.
"Great dog community but not everyone is good at cleaning up after their dog. Plenty of sidewalk space and a great park nearby for them to play on or off leash. Depending on your dog’s behavior of course and how well you trust them"
  • Candy H.
"I walk my dog in this neighborhood at all hours and feel safe! There have been coyote spotted, though I haven’t seen any personally. Other dog walkers are friendly too, but don’t forget your bags to pick up after your dog or some neighbors will be very upset!"
  • Bookmargaret
"It’s a great neighborhood, best neighborhood in the entire world. I have lived here 20 years and have made life long friendships. "
  • Tlpontes5
"Jazz fest takes place once a year as well as many other block parties. The main strip has a lot of shopping and restaurants that are unique to college park"
  • Eve B.
"I wish the public transportation was better in this area. I end up using Lyft more because the stops are far apart from each other and the routes are inconvenient. "
  • Xavier L.
"It’s a solid neighborhood with a cute main street vibe and it’s close to anything you need to do in Orlando"
  • Robert D.
"seems like everyone minds there business and its very quiet for the most part. no trouble, no issues, just easy sailing."
  • Debbie
"College Park is totally dog friendly area! Even Starbucks has a dog bowl out front! The sidewalks are wide the neighborhoods are friendly and dog lovers seem to pick up their dog litter and dispose of it properly. College Park can’t be beat! I love it there. "
  • Amy A.
