My experience at this school was deeply damaging, and I feel a responsibility to speak up—not just for myself, but for other students who have suffered in silence.During my time here in middle school, I was constantly bullied. I followed the school’s rules, reported the bullying to teachers, avoided conflict, and did everything they told me to do. But it didn’t matter. The teachers and the principal did very little to help or protect me. The environment was neglectful at best, and harmful at worst. The emotional toll it took on me was severe—I battled depression and even had suicidal thoughts as a direct result of what I went through here.One of the biggest failures of this school is its absurd policy on self-defense. If someone puts their hands on you and you defend yourself, you get suspended right along with the aggressor. You could do everything right, avoid physical confrontation, report things properly, and still get punished or ignored. That kind of system doesn’t promote safety—it punishes the victims and enables the bullies.And it wasn’t just me. I saw many other kids dealing with similar issues. Bullying was rampant, and the school clearly lacked the structure, attention, or willingness to properly address it.On top of all that, the facility itself was disgusting. The bathrooms were repeatedly shut down because students kept urinating on the floors and flooding the toilets. Instead of fixing the core issues, they just closed things down. That’s not discipline or problem-solving—it’s avoidance.In short, this school failed to provide a safe, clean, and supportive learning environment. No child deserves to go through what I and many others did there.

Excellent school teachers and nice education environment.

All four of my children attended Thomson and they had an amazing experience. The teachers here are great teachers. I volunteered here for as long as my kids attended this school and always felt welcomed. It's a great school for your children as long as you are doing your part too. Teachers and family working together make a school great.
