7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I like the school, the dedicated staff, and the Spanish immersion program, but the early start time (7:35am) is brutal. Our mornings are rushed and miserable. I fantasize about switching schools in order to get more sleep and maintain sanity. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended this school during covid and while it was his responsibility to do the right thing and make the right choices, the staff was not supportive at all. There were many fights, a lot of inappropriate things like vaping in the bathrooms. This is a women ran school and while I completely support women it would have been nice to have a male presence. The kids would have better respect if there was a male Principal or VP. In the end the teachers did their jobs well, some better than others. I would recommend this school if your child can tune out the drama of middle school. Mine could not and it caused a lot of anguish. When I would reach out to the principal Mrs. Jaramillo she wouldn't respond at all and I did not appreciate the avoidance. The last three years of middle school have been very frustrating and difficult, I do not solely blame the teacher, principal or school environment I do hold my son accountable but also believe their could have been much better support than what we received. Glad we are finished and onto a new chapter.Other Review10mo ago

"Super safe! My boyfriend lives here so I visit once a month and every time, everyone has been warm, friendly, and respectful. The neighbors are also quiet which is really nice on work nights. "

"pretty safe area. some of the apartment complexes experience car theft from cars on the street. but those are few and far between and not regular occurrences. lots of people walk pets and go for a morning run here. the hills and trails keep you active."

"We have lived here for 3 years now since 2020. The area is quiet with plenty of kids due to the 3 different elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school in the area. Military housing is close by as well though separate and in its own community. The apartments in the area are well maintained and ypu will usually spot several different people walking pets, jogging, or hiking to the various nearby trails. it's a great area if you can afford the overinflated home prices."

"I like the fenced in backyard. That is the nicest feature. I like that there is poop stations to put your dog poop bags into every couple miles along the sidewalks. Not everyone follows the rules about picking up after their dogs though. "
