7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is not a good school anymore. Principal Tention is not a good principal. She does not look out for the safety and well-being of students. She doesn't meet the proper goals of what a principal should be. Children have been physically attacked bullied. She does nothing she doesn't have meetings to mediate the situation. She doesn't even call the parents, it's unacceptable. Some of the teachers are good. The special ed teachers are good but they need more education on dealing with children with special needs. The school needs to be revamped.Other Review1y ago11 Reviews - High School For Innovation In Advertising And Medi

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has truly contributed to my self-growth and development in ways unimaginable. It has taught me how to be more of a leader, build relationship with others, and effectively communicate. Being a freshman in the school can be tough due to having to adapt to a new environment, creating a work ethic, and looking into time management. With more years and experience in the school, it becomes more viid what is expected of you and how the school can help you be a leader and pursue the future that you are passionate about. Although the school is small, it truly feels like a family because staff have more time to relate with students on a more personal level. Every staff is very encouraging and open to help with any problem or issue.Student Review4y ago22 Reviews - Check out schools near 1055 E 92nd St.

"It has a park where many people come from everywhere to entertain themselves. Some residents enjoy doing exercises during the sommer time and play games. All these hobbies made them happier and contribute to their health conditions."

"This neighborhood has many bus routes running thru it and we have access to 3 subway lines. #2. #5 and the L Train. "

"If you can commute between 3AM to 7AM it isn’t bad. Any other time it’s a disaster. The belt turns into a disaster which turns rockaway into a disaster then effects all the other streets. If you don’t drive good, bus and train take longer and more more risky but still better than driving."

"My neighborhood has great access to public transportation and the commute is rough with a lot of people crowded on the buses and trains. The commuters are polite and say excuse me and pardon me. But, it still is hectic. That is Brooklyn, NY for you, busy and crowded."

"It’s alright except when it gets hot and the young boys decide to start shooting. Once you hear the bullets start flying it over. Otherwise it an ok neighborhood."

"It is a two-way zone area which makes it easy for me to catch the bus or the train. There is a supermarket that provides many fruits/vegetables and other products. You can get good deals on hardware products and other household products. There are clothing stores as well that sell fine clothes and shoes. We have a health food store and a store that sells natural juices."

"It’s the last block of the street itself and there’s a huge park at the end of the block. Past that is a major Highway and past that, is a bay with just a strip of land before there’s the Atlantic Ocean. Does not feel crowded here and I wouldn’t mind having a boat to explore the local waters"
