It is only a 4 block walk to Hubert Olson Elementary, Olson Middle School, and Thomas Jefferson High School. Cub Foods, Walgreens, and Caribou Coffee are just around the corner. The best park in the Twin Cities, Hyland Park, is 3 miles away. It offers the metro's premier playground, over 10 miles of hiking and biking trails, and canoe rentals. The home is also only one mile from a golf course. After all that exercise you can cool off at nearby Bush Lake Beach. Hyland also offers cross country skiing and the metro's largest sledding hill. It won't take long to get to the airport or the Mall of America either.

    "It’s a nice, quiet neighborhood and you can walk your dog without worrying about a lot of traffic. Neighbors are always out in their yards so it’s very easy to meet people. We do have a Fox in the neighborhood and have had coyotes in the past. There are also bald eagles around as well as hawks. If you have a small dog or cat you won’t want to leave them outside by themselves. There have been a few dogs and cats that have been taken. "
