7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe new principal, Mr Corley is an amazing principal. The staff has always been very helpful. My child enjoys going to school. They have so many different classes for students to choose them as they go up in grade. All of the teachers that I have met have been great and truly want to help the kids succeed. There are also so many groups and clubs for the kids to participate in. They keep parents in the loop and involved. I love going to the Friday night football games and hearing the amazing band.Parent Review7mo ago - Fontainebleau Junior High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst JH in the district! My daughter was bullied the two years she was there. I get most schools have this problem but my daughter was physically assaulted twice within a month. The administration tried to get her expelled the second time because she fought back! The administration is terrible, the SRO is terrible and clueless and some teachers are very unprofessional! It’s not a nurturing environment at all, which is what they still need at this age. They are overly strict for no reason and will try to get a student in the most trouble as possible! They will yell and curse in a students face! I get that some kids at this school are animals but that doesn’t mean you have to treat every kid like an animal! My daughter transferred and has never been happier! The administration needs to be replaced!!Parent Review1mo ago - Mandeville Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageReally love this school. Principal is fantastic and listens to and concerns you may have. Teacher has been wonderful, both kind and an excellent educator. I like how small it is compared to Pontchartrain. I think elementary schools should be small and nurturing, not huge.Parent Review1y ago - Lake Harbor Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent school, great teachers and administration. Teachers communicate very well regarding your child's progress. Very inclusive for those students with disabilities. My child is very happy here. I would highly recommend this school.Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 105 Blue Heron Dr.

"I’ve visited this neighborhood on and off for four years. It had lovely historic areas as well as newer subdivisions. Some restaurants are world class. It’s a nice distance from New Orleans but just close enough to it for a fun night on the town. It has excellent public schools."

"Not ideal. Causeway bridge for commute gets old after 10+ years of doing it 5 days per week. If you’re and 8-5, traffic is slow towards Jefferson Hwy."

"The commute to New Orleans is long and tedious. Traffic, construction and drawbridge activity hinder flowing traffic. If commuting to the south shore I suggest moving to the south shore."

"Like that most people have dogs and are dog lovers. Not like that people really do pay attention to whether you clean up after your pup. May also not like that pups are not welcome in the common areas."

"Here for 30 years, Mandeville is quiet suburban life as it should be. Streets are fixed before they go bad, or a day later. Light goes out, call city hall, Mayor likely to answer, new light tomorrow. Bike robbery gets two detectives. Best schools, good neighbors, community activities. A great place to live."
