2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is by far the worst school i have had the unfortunate necessity of dealing with. In the past 15 years dealing with kids progressing through school....never in my life have i seen such a horrible disregard and disorganization. My child is loudly bullied regularly because she has tan skin instead of black. The administration does not return phone calls about bullying nor do they care. The principal and assistant principal are paid to either not show up or lock thenselves away and not pay attention to what is going on around them. According to the written county statutes on student progression my child should be passing to the next level, the school feels they dont have to follow it and want to retain my child. Not happening. Im reporting this school to the national organization for bullying and to the pinellas county school board. Your child us better served by sitting at home rotting their brains on tv than by going to this school.Parent Review8y ago - Gibbs High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAdministration arbitrarily enforces rules based on whim and prejudice. Teachers don't seem to be on the same page as one another. Mixed messages abound, adversely affecting student outcome.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 105 40th St S.

"Local Elementary school, lots of pets and kids outside. Friendly people. No controlling neighborhood association. Located within the wonderful city of St. Petersburg! Our neighborhood is in the middle between downtown to the east and the beaches to the west! 10-15 minutes for both! Amazing location!"

"lived in this area since 2011. Neighbors are friendly and no drama. most of the neighbors have lived here for a very long time. Oh and there are coyotes in the neighborhood. Yes I said coyotes. haven't heard that they have caused any problem. Other than that great neighborhood to live in "

"This is a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Most homeowners have lived here many, many years and take pride in their homes and the neighborhood. In the mornings and evenings, people are out walking their dogs or exercising. Many of the streets have oak-lined medians. I have not experienced the issues with crime or trash the poster from 4 years ago described, and I have lived here for 12 years."
- Glenn R.
- 10y ago
"Lots of burglaries , car thefts , prostitutes hanging out one block away. Forget about keeping your yard looking nice. I used to pick up the trash that was thrown by passing cars daily until I gave up. Have had stolen cars abandoned twice in the alley directly behind my house , car broken into at 10am in the morning , all my neighbors have home break ins . Transients roam the alley constantly. Look elsewhere. "
