Honestly I don’t think there could possibly be a worse high school out there…. Every single day feels miserable in this school with cruel teachers, who make it very obvious that they do not like you, and constant harsh punishment from administrators while also only showing this harshness to certain students… 2 students could do the exact same thing, but if one looks different or comes from a different type of family they are treated differently. For example someone that is low income will recieve more harsh punishment than someone from a higher class family. It also seems like genuine and REAL safety is not a priority… while yes kids using vapes in the bathroom is a problem…. pretty sure it does not outrank all of the violence and threats going on in schools, which should be a main focus!! Someone I know that has younger children asked me not to long ago if I recommend them going to Wilmot when it comes time for them to go off to high school (they do live in the district) and all I responded with was “if you are hoping for your children to be happy and successful, run the opposite direction from Wilmot!” This school needs some serious new leadership. I wish it was practical to completely clean house, new admin, new teachers, honestly just new. Wilmot is and will continue to lose students until finally it’s a school, with no students. Question to leave you thinking….Wilmot, your trying so hard to figure out what is wrong with your students for having such terrible attendance, maybe it is time to stop looking at the students, and look at the school and the way it is ran instead. Just a thought…..

My Experience at this school is going great. Most of the teachers are extremely kind and helpful if you need to talk or need help on some work. The Special Ed program is great I'm part of it myself and they are there for me when I need them. The safety of this school is great they do monthly fire drills. A couple tornado drills and a ALICE lesson for safety about strangers. For families and parents they do fun after school activities. ( Thanks to the booster club! ) Such as bingo, dances, fun holiday celebrations and a lot more. I would absolutely recommend to let your children go here. It's a huge family. Personally I have been in and out of this school due to moving and it hasn't changed for the 5 years I've been going to TWC. I love going to school at TWC.
