I'm offering a furnished master bedroom with private bathroom in my 3 bed / 2 bath duplex located in Thornton.
This is a unique setup I travel frequently and am only home about 4 months out of the year, so the tenant will enjoy the home to themselves most of the time.
My visits are typically quarterly and last about one month, though timing may vary slightly from time to time.
During my time away, the tenant will have full use of the home's common areas.
Please note that the additional bedrooms will remain reserved for my personal use and for my children when they visit (which is rare, as they live abroad), and will not be accessible for tenant use.
When I am home, I work remotely and have a small home office setup located in the living room during those periods.
The Space Includes:
Furnished master bedroom
Private bathroom
Access to large kitchen & living area
Enclosed backyard
Small gardening area available for tenant use
Utilities + internet included
Off-street parking available most of the year
Quiet, established HOA neighborhood
Important:
While I am out of town, the tenant will be responsible for basic lawn care in the summer and snow removal in the winter to help keep the property compliant with HOA requirements.
Ideal Tenant:

Is responsible and consistent with rent
Doesn't mind light outdoor upkeep
Is comfortable sharing common space during occasional owner stays

Lease Terms & House Expectations
I'm looking to start with a 6-month lease to ensure it's a good fit for both of us, with the possibility of transitioning into a longer-term arrangement if things go well and expectations are consistently met.
All utilities are included, including internet.
To maintain a peaceful and respectful home environment, the following house standards apply:
No smoking
No pets
No drugs
No parties
No unauthorized occupants
No conflicts with neighbors
Please:
Pay rent on time consistently
Clean up after yourself
Be respectful and kind
Help maintain the yard
Bring trash cans back in after collection day
You're welcome to use shared household items in common spaces just please treat them with care.
You are free to personalize your private room, but I prefer to keep the shared living areas decorated as they are. I will be updating the main spaces by removing larger family photos and replacing them with more neutral decor. My style leans a bit eclectic and warm old soul at heart
