"It’s decent it’s not the best or safest but it is somewhat calm and non threatening area for families."
  • Kelsey Elizabeth
"Most of the dog owners allow their dogs to roam the neighborhood to use the bathroom, and they do not clean up after them. "
  • Jamie K.
"This small town is definitely known for its community. It's all about walking into a store or restaurant and knowing half the employees. Such a great place to make friends. People are very considerate and always welcome new friends. Of course you always need to keep an eye out but overall, I feel safe here. Especially knowing these people are ready to defend! "

"I enjoy living here. It’s a small town and the neighborhood is nice. I just think people should obey the speed limit. "
  • Lawler A.
"Halloween parks happy neighborhood kid friendly loving neighbors and a safe place for our children love our neighbors "
  • Dalton F.
"Plenty of room to run and play but there is not a dog park so if you’re looking for a place for your dog to socialize you’ll have to travel to Gastonia or Shelby."
  • Jeffrey G.
"too much activity and it looks rundown; there is a lot of activity in this trailer park and all the trailers there to me they would run down there not you it should be new trailers not know trailers that is built from 1970s they need to be up to date Mobile homes at least build 1995 I do not like to live in a trailer really it is not my type of leaving never have been and I hope never will be there are a lot of places to live in this area and that is not one of the places that I would like to live thank you very muchthe only thing looks good in that trailer park with bees in the bottle service I think they do a great job but they're still need to be weed eating all around every trailer they all are I haven't been in many many trailer parks and this one does not fit to the upstanding of the ones that I have been in urine"
  • Jeffrey Todd Gentry

  • lynn e.
"Neighbors very friendly, and it is in a beautiful area on Moss Lake. There is boating and fishing available to all."
  • mosslakeprop
"Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smokie Mountains, it is an excellent place to live and play. There are so many types of wildlife: bunnies, deer, turtles, foxes, wild turkeys, guinea hens, frogs and toads, beaver, birds (osprey/eagles/blue heron/swans/ducks/hummingbirds just to name a few), butterfles, fish (crappie/catfish/bass/bluegill/carp), incredible skies day and night (including lightening bug shows in the dark); watersports (skiing, boating, jet skiing), lots of pontoon pleasure cruises). Approx. 57 miles of awesome shoreline to view and play in. State park campground (Kings Mtn), boat launch and picnic areas; fishing docks. Fed by Buffalo Creek, which meanders through the area. The people living in the area are friendly and helpful. Charlotte Douglas airport is just 45 minutes away. Other cities, such as Hickory and Gastonia are close by also. All in all, this is definitely North Carolina's "best kept secret!""
