Description

5 Acre Private Park with house surrounded by 100 year old forest, total privacy 1 mile from the main highway, and about 3 miles to Costco. This is "The SendIt" house ... where the best parties in Clallam County have occurred. It is your platform and stage for an extraordinary life. 5 acre deep forested private park property with single level house with no immediate neighbors. Connected by cable modem to Astound's network so excellent internet support. Excellent for dogs with 5 acres to run, special room just for dogs, and a dog door to the house built in so they can come and go. One of our 3 dogs really liked that because he'd spend the evening with us, and then head outside where he preferred to sleep in the late evening. This also allows dogs to establish their own perimeter around the house and patrol what they deem their territory which many dogs prefer to do. Includes 2 1/2 car detached garage with electric vehicle charger. Available starting June 1 ( or possibly earlier). Property includes a swimming pool which at renters option can be filled and maintained. Everything is negotiable. Owner may be living full time in a separate ADU on the property starting October 1 until April 1. You can also choose for another $1800 a month more to rent that office studio as your own dance, art, office, or whatever interior space you imagine. So if you're running a business out of your house, or have folks that need room to stretch out ... it's available in addition to the main house. Owner will also extend to renter some privileges at their water front Lake Sutherland cabin wherein a ski boat, jetskis, etc are available ... 3 night use in the summer plus other access ... see pictures attached. The cabin sells in the summer for more than $1000 a night so that is basically one months rent for free to trade for 3 nights at the lake. Bottom line is this is a high end property intended for a high caliber renter who is not just interested in a clean comfortable place to live ... but is more interested in living the dream of the Pacific Northwest. We are looking for the ideal renter looking for the ideal property and lifestyle. All windows look outward to the beautiful green forest. There are 3 bedrooms and 1 office and another room that could be called a "mother in law" bedroom in addition ... where indeed my mother in law lived for about 2 years and it worked out well. Finally ... it comes with a large 2 & 1/2 car climate controlled garage that offers about 600 sq feet of storage. Available June 1.

Renter pays all electricity and internet. Water is free as property is on a well. Maintenance of yard is negotiable.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources. This description is from June 09, 2025

"I've lived in Sequim for a total of 12 years. If I won the lottery and could live anywhere I'd choose Sequim. It's a cute town. On the whole people are educated, supportive, open minded and friendly. The surrounding area is gorgeous. Beautiful water, forests, mountains and great weather. I'll live here the rest of my life. "
  • Chris
"This is a pocket of paradise in the Pacific Northwest. We have the saltwater on one side, the mountains on the other side and sunshine inbetween!"
  • Faith S.
"Wonderful small town where the people are genuinely good. Easy access to everything nature has to offer while still being close enough to the big city."
  • Tom C.
"Outstanding panoramic views of the Olympic Mountain range. 1/2 mile to the Dungeness Wildlife Refuge and Dungeness Spit. Quiet golf course community with private roads. Adjacent wildlife reserve. Adjacent to woods, two owned building lots adjacent building lots to protect the mountain views. Fenced backyard plus kennel. Outbuilding for storage."
  • Electricskies2001
"This area is a fairly quiet place to live. The area is far enough away from downtown to not be congested, but close enough to be convenient to all major shopping on Washington ST. There is a local neighborhood park nearby, and although Fifth Ave is used as a shortcut to Sequim AVE, it's manageable. Really, this area is okay for anyone, but they should be open minded for young families and/or families with young children as the area seems to have quite a few."
