I have 2 children in the district. I have been pleasantly surprised by the High School. My child has made strong connections with the teachers. She has also had excellent opportunities to participate in many different types of extracurriculars. It’s smaller size actually opens up doors for greater participation. The community also shows up for the kids and is great about supporting them in their sporting events, theater productions, fundraising efforts.

I absolutely love this school! My son was kicked out of 1 of the other schools in the district and is now at Hilltop. They have worked with him with his disabilities and helped him to become such a better student. I can’t say enough great things about the Principal and all the teachers and staff I have come in contact with!

While most of the teachers are great, it is clear that some just don’t care anymore. The work is mostly packets, but it all depends how the teacher teaches with it. There are many fights and a ton of derogatory language. The staff members are welcoming. Over all, the school has a bad reputation that isn’t too far off from reality, but there are still many positives!
