6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey are terrible at communication, they don't include kids fairly, and the worst is they are unsafe. They do not care about bullying and do not handle situations well, if at all. They have admitted that their cameras barley even work. I have had my friends and family, who the school was not familiar with, try to go pick my child up who is 6 and they didn't even question them. Just handed my kid over. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot happy with the verbal abuse my child received there from other students. School seems to look the other way, kids will be kids, jr high is a hard age. In my meeting with a staff member about the situation the staff member told me, 'well I survived while in Jr high, and you survived.' Not appropriate. "neighborhood is close to multiple schools and has nice access to walking paths that are fairly well maintained year round. neighborhood does not feel particularly neighborly and is mostly a keep to yourself location it seems in spite of residences being very close together "

"This has been home for six years now. Very peaceful and pleasant. The neighbors are not close. You have to go out of your way to introduce yourself. The schools are good, except for Deer Park. The district lines are odd so do your research. "

"Everything is within walking distance. It’s a terrific commute. And if you need something beyond local businesses, the town next door is 9 miles away and an incredibly scenic drive w no traffic. "

"I love walking my dogs downtown! We go every day in the summer, and there are many small parks within walking distance. A note on the homes themselves- In the city proper, many of the homes are on smaller lots with the houses built close to one another. Plenty have fences, although many yards are small."

"Less than two minutes, I could walk! I live down the road from the clinic where I work. It’s also a short jaunt to the farmer’s market on Thursday and the neat stuff downtown "
