We are truly grateful for the wonderful experience our child had in Pre-K at Veterans Hill Elementary School. As an ESL student, our child came to school still learning English, and since we do not speak English at home, we were naturally worried about how the adjustment would go. But from the very beginning, Miss Perez made our child feel safe, welcomed, understood, and encouraged.Thanks to her patience, kindness, and amazing teaching, our child’s English improved tremendously within just one year. The confidence, communication skills, and growth we have seen have been truly incredible. More than academics, she helped build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.Miss Perez has always been caring, supportive, approachable, and understanding with both students and parents. We will always remember the positive impact she had during such an important stage of our child’s life.A big shout out as well to Miss Mejia for all her support, warmth, and care throughout the year.
