Mt. Adams is an easy neighborhood to nestle right into - everything you need is just a few steps away!

Truly, you will find we have everything. From unique eateries, pubs, museums, and magnificent churches - to parks, a locally-owned art gallery, a dry cleaner, coffee shop and wine bar, and a friendly ice cream shop/mini market.

Mt. Adams also boasts an outdoor rock climbing area (popular with enthusiasts!), a man-made lake, the iconic "Playhouse in the Park" theatre, an outdoor concert venue, various vantage points for incredible city and river views, and dog-friendly "drinkeries." There is also continuous live music in various spots around our village and a community pool great for both adults and children.

If you decide to venture outside our neighborhood, we are less than a 5 minute drive from the Casino, a large movie theatre, the Newport Aquarium, Krohn Conservatory, and Downtown Cincinnati (which itself is the home to many eclectic shops and awarded restaurants). There's even places downtown for the trend-conscious or organic-minded; Rooted Juicery, Maplewood, the Instagram-famous Please and Sleepy Bee Cafe!

We have been the home for many Children's Hospital families and Proctor & Gamble business travelers. If you are an incoming nurse or physician, we're only 8 minutes from most hospitals!
The Mt. Adams neighborhood is located moments from the highway, but if you prefer a scenic walk downtown you can take the series of "Mt. Adams Steps" that wind through the hill and enjoy different vantage points along the way.

"My neighborhood is within walking distance to downtown. The public transportation is easily accessible. I topically walk to my job downtown and occasionally ride my bike to near by neighborhoods and stores downtown. "
  • Nicholas
"Great neighborhood for kids: safe, walkable, friendly neighbors, neighborhood events (outdoor movies, concerts, holidays) and easy access to great resources for kids (pool, museum, downtown). Increasing number of young families committed to raising their kids on the Hill, PLUS you can live adjacent to downtown, reducing your commute, maximizing your time at home."
  • Charles
"Mt. Adams is a Cincinnati gem - great for families, singles, and empty nesters alike. This neighborhood is an artistic hub for the city - boasting both the Art Museum and the Playhouse (both embarking on major updates), as well as one of the city’s finest parks and the Krohn Conservatory. Charming streets, amazing views and one of the lowest crime rates in the city make Mt. Adams a truly special place to live. Not least of all is the convenience for work and play: downtown, The Banks and OTR are a 20 minute walk or a 3 minute drive."
  • Seaven C
"The neighborhood has easy access to both major highways and quick to get downtown or over the river. "
  • katz
"There are always events happening at the top of Mt Adams. My street has a coordinator and people are always getting together. There is a great art and music scene here as well."

"i enjoy dogs, no complaints. just pick up poop, make sure they are leashed or contained to yard. my dog barks alot but is also always in our home. so noise wont be a neighborhood issue "
  • Smelcerash
"Mt.Adams is great because it has plenty of green space as well as businesses. It has restaurant and bars. It also has a UDF for those items you forgot at the grocery store. "
  • alisonnugent75
"Not great if you have children. Loud bars in the area and traffic barreling down the street. I moved my children out to the suburbs. "
