10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m a vendor that comes in and the lady at the front desk was very unwelcoming! To say the least very rude. I watched her tone with the students as well. Just overall harsh and not pleasant. She is at the front desk to welcome our students, parents, vendors and family. I can’t make a comment on education but my first impression of this lady is I’m glad my children don’t walk into this school in the morning.Other Review2mo ago15 Reviews - Maple Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAvon North has gotten considerably worse in the last 2 years! Bullying is out of hand, fights occur often and leadership from new principle is a joke. He does not stand up to unruly kids or parents and rules for students are often ignored. Principal often blames staff for any issues with little to no support for the tireless workers that gave so much. Test scores have gone down, great teachers have left for other schools. This school preaches accountability and respect but sad to say its far from both now.Other Review3w ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near 10274 E County Rd.

"Lots of people walk the dogs, but no sidewalks. Washington Township Park connects to the neighborhood. There is lots of green space at the park as well as an adorable dog park. "

"The neighborhood is pet friendly and everyone seems to pick up their dog litter. Most walk their dogs on leashes. Not a lot of drive thru traffic. "

"Schools are great, lots of kids, sports are very competitive so if your kid is just middle of the road then there’s a good chance they may not play in high school. High school is huge"

"Straight shot to downtown or the interstate so commuting is convenient, but there’s only one main road so it’s often a bit congested during rush hour. "

"Need a dog park and stations for picking up waste. More open areas of grass and places for the dogs to except use would be helpful."

"Community sales are nice once or twice a year here in the neighborhood. Other surrounding communities have community sales as well. The church down the street has a fish fry and other events through the year. It’s a great place to live here in Avon, Indiana"
