"The Near Westside neighborhood is awesome. Walk or bike to anything downtown.....restaurants & bars, IU campus, parks & B-Line Trail, Farmers' Market, Bloomingfoods, etc.. I have lived in this neighborhood for 5.5 years. I have never had an issues with safety or security. All my neighbors are really nice. I talk to folks sitting on their front porch as I pass by with my dogs daily. You can be anywhere in Bloomington in under 10 minutes...eastside, westside, southside,...anywhere. When they say "location, location, location" this is the neighborhood they are talking about."
