The charming built-in breakfast nook offers storage underneath of the benches. Plus, there is a walk-in pantry and remodeled powder room as well. There are two sets of stairs to access the second level, one is located off of the kitchen. SECOND FLOOR: There are four bedrooms located on this level with the front two bedrooms have an adjoining door because formal homes had separate his and hers bedrooms with a womans dressing room between them. The full bathroom features all new plumbing fixtures, walk-in shower with travertine tiles, and claw tub. THIRD FLOOR: This area received the most extensive remodel. The master suite was taken down to the studs, and re-designed by SteveEccher, a local architect. The master bedroom has refinished original hardwood floors, brick wall, flue less gas fireplace, giant storage closet, and AC/heat ductless unit. The master bath includes His and Her vanities with stained cement sinks and solid crystal pendants, two walk-in closets, private water closet, toe kick heater, washer/dryer, and marble shower with steam & tub were added. LOWER LEVEL: Practical and useable with a full height ceilings, large laundry area with sink, and a utility room. The bonus room could be used as an office and a Wrapped wine cellar that was originally a coal storage room. OUTDOORS: The front yard has been enclosed with an Antique iron fence and fabricated iron fencing and gates. The entire exterior of the home including the 2-car garage was painted a year ago. The brick walkways and seating areas were added in the back of the home that creates a delightful, private outdoor living space. There is an original brick garage upgraded with concrete flooring and an automated garage door, and a detached two-car garage with 500 SF with an unfinished upstairs. The residence offers easy access to world class galleries, dining, shops, and all outdoor recreation offered in beautiful Durango!
