5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is in a MD classroom. He had loved preschool the few years he attended & started to hate school the moment he started attending Cookson Elementary. There have been some questionable happenings between staff & my son & at a point left my son refusing to go to school because of a “mean” teacher. I honestly hope the district does some major reforms to this school as they are well needed.Parent Review9mo ago - Troy High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average-10/10 Do NOT send your kids to Troy high school. The administrative members are the most rude, inconsiderate kids that I have EVER meet in my entire life. Jeffrey Schultz does not know how to do his job correctly. He hates every student there. I had my son running to me in tears (sophomore) because of Schultz. We need to have him removed.Parent Review2y ago - Troy Junior High School

What Locals Say about Troy

"Kensington neighborhood looks like it should be nice, but people drive entirely too fast through here, blow stop signs constantly, and everyone with a dog seemingly lets it bark at will and defecate in other people's lawns. "

"I lived in Troy for several years. Definitely a nice area. No public transportation. There are areas that were rough thirty years ago and had not improved any. However, there are a lot of good neighborhoods. If you are moving from out of state, don’t rely on your realtor says on what areas are rough, get residents opinions. "

"We are within 3 minutes of the super Kroger and live on 3/4 acres with a 15 acre lake. Everyone is friendly and only 20 minutes from Dayton. "
