From kindergarten all the way until 5th grade when my best friend went to another school, I thought this school was fine. My friend and I were once playing a math game that she played in school and I didn't even know what some of the questions were. I've always been a top student here and she hasn't been, yet she knew that stuff and I didn't. That's where I knew we were behind. Then, in 5th grade, the teacher couldn't control the class so we didn't do or learn anything. In 6th grade, the teacher only ever gave us work so we never actually learned. We only had 2 or 3 math lessons the entire year.

Former student here, will not disclose details such as my name for safety. I was constantly harrassed in this school for the year I was there, was a mixed student who only went because I was in a hard living situation.The students were absolutely terrible. I have ADHD, and looked different from everyone there which means I was an absolutely huge target for harrassment. The students in the school comstantly got me in trouble, harmed me mentally and physically, or verbally attacked me near-constantly.The community of students also were not intelligent. Was in an argument because a student got mad at me for when I losted off genres when he asked me about the types of media I consumed as one example I vivdly remember.Staff were below average. Some felt obviously tortured from their enviornment, some were terrible at giving directions, some obviously did not care. Which I personally view as not very professional.I do not recommend this school at all, nor the community. This was my experience as a former student taking Freshman year.

Completely terrible. Lunch is terrible, to be expected for most schools. Only 5 class periods in a day: math, science, social studies, English, and exploratory (Win, health, or gym). Only a few after school activities: basketball, track, cheerleading, robotics, and pretty brown girls. Not many opportunities. They lied about what we would do for the year.

I rate the school a 5 average due to the lack of teachers and parents collaboration in students knowledge and education skills

I would like to thank school district 149 for getting rid of Dirsksen Middle School and Dr.Young, The new school system is much better with the three schools in one, A special thanks to Miss Slate, she has control of her school and the kids are doing much better. This was A very good ideal. congrats to everyone!
