"I’ve been here over 12 years now. But I am a single woman. And it’s difficult to feel at home in this community. I’m not sure why, but my neighbors aren’t very friendly."
  • Tanisha Clark
"Good family town good schools and parks. Safer than other cities. Suburban feel. Expanding town. Love it here"
  • Cb2pgx9bsn
"Mostly just established families over near Cimarron/Mescalero. Very quiet and respectful. Brothers Pond Park is in walking distance and is stunning and clean, well-maintained. "
  • Marisabelazucena
"University students shops people and family environment great place to be and work clean environment. "
  • Shawntereka Brown
"House warmings and gatherings. Even have Bbq’s from time to time. Have game nights and also movie nights."
  • Vianca Cruz-Santiago
"Dog parks are limited. There is only 3 in town and only 1 where small dogs and large dogs are separated. "
  • S84ypppfvc
"Everyone has to get along with each other or they will end up killing each other. We all need to be able to help each other out which makes us feel better about our community "
  • Aquack
"Open fence to a major road, and lots of passing traffic thinking the cul-de-sac goes through. However we are right beside Wolf Pen Creek Park, which is great for dog walking. Lots of people have very friendly and passive dogs in the neighborhood. "
  • Kris.34throne
"There are walking trails all throughout the neighborhood. The streets are well lit, the wooded trail does not have lights, but it’s still a nice area to explore. "
  • Edward Johnson
"I’m not sure what dog owners would like or dislike about living in College Station. I will say this; even though it’s with in close proximity to Houston, it is way more laid back and peaceful even though it’s a college town."
  • Kris.34throne
"There are sidewalks throughout including a semi wooded but paved trail and a pond. The neighborhood is close enough to shopping, but it’s still a nice and secluded area"
  • Aquack
"Wolf Pen Creek! Wonderful park, amphitheater on a small lake for concerts, playground, turtles! The city hosts many holiday events here."
  • Jovanaguillen
"Live outside of the city limits. Very quiet and remote. Great for walks get to enjoy the wildlife and still minutes away from town. "
  • Queen B.
"Leash dogs walk the neighborhood. There are no dog specific areas (dog parks). Last large enough to have space for the family dogs in my subdivision. "
  • Kris.34throne
"Nice, quiet, safe, family neighborhood that is close enough to town, but far enough from the hussle and bussle. I’ve been here for one year. "
  • Trulia User
"There’s a lot of grass and parks in the area. Most of the dogs are always on leashes. Plus it’s near the police station. There are plenty of places to get pet supplies. "
  • Trulia User
"Grew up around it. Good for college bad for careers. I recommend getting out as soon as possible unless you got a job here from A&M "
  • Trulia User
"mostly highway. I work in bryan so it's farther away for me to drive. but no longer than 20 minutes "
  • Trulia User
"Many family herd lively place to live with pets too. I would recommend this place to anyone with family"
  • Trulia User
"Texas Aggie football and other sporting events. Lincoln recreation center Boys and Girls club. which I grew up there and the experience has been unforgettable. awesome childhood in this nice neighborhood. also there is a CC Creations warehouse with several nice things that can be purchased from the warehouse itself. Big plus for any sports fan. Bus routes are available for transportation to the many sporting events. A&M Consoladated around the corner providing another opportunity to enjoy many sporting events like football and basketball. "
  • Makenzie M.
"The neighborhood isn’t very quite but it feels very safe. Although many streets do not have sidewalks & cars parked on the road very often, it still feels very open if you pay attention. "
  • Kimberly P.
"Those who get out on a regular basis, know each other at least by sight. There are a lot of sidewalks and the streets that don’t have them do tend to be wider."
  • Aquack
"Wolf pen creek! They host amazing community events. I like the playground and it’s in Joy’s Place to walk your dogs"
  • Danny A.
"A lot of people decorate their homes for Christmas. It is nice to just drive around and check out the different decorations."
  • Susan M.
"I use my own transportation to commute. This area seems to be a busy area and sometimes is congested. "
  • Jennifer S.
"I love College Station, Texas... it is a great place to live... community, convenience and small city living.."
  • Jutson2002
"Safe and friendly during Trick or Treating and other Holiday's. Nice and quiet most of the time. Friendly neighbors and nice place to raise your kids."
  • Sara C.
"The Parks and walk trails around the neighborhood are very nice. Ideal for family walks and teaching children how to ride their bike."
  • Laceysorbet
"It has the right mix between country rural feel and big city amenities. Wish the college traffic wasn’t so bad during certain times but it’s still a great place to live. "
  • Phillip B.
"Aggieland is a place where you can get all of the amenities of the city, but still kind of have that small town feel."
  • Desiree D.
"none. i live in an overpriced crappy apt. this is a town for college students, not families. South College Station is better or go to its neighbor Bryan. Everything is cheaper and more family oriented."
  • Annette W.
"Lots of small children in south College station, good schools, parks, lots of restaurants, stores and grocery."
  • Deut_818

"It’s a nice well maintained neighborhood close to good schools, grocery shops, and new eating places "
  • Breanna G.
"Santa’s village is nice as well as Christmas in the park. The mall does give out Halloween candy as well as a Halloween in the park too."
  • Trmguard-household
"My commute is 5 minutes with no student traffic. My husband’s takes longer because he drives by several student housing places on his way to work."
  • Michael B.
"Lived here for two years and we love it. Close to Kyle Field, on the beautiful Brazos River. Lots of birds and deer. Friendly Aggies."
  • Wadeandlizamy
"I don’t have one. I work from home, but the drive through town to take kids to extracurriculars isn’t bad at all"
  • Sunskains03
"Short. There are a lot of restaurant and shopping very near by. This is central located in the community. "
  • Kayleeramos18
"close to a&m and close to shopping centers and lots of restaurants and grocery stores my street has a lot of students who park on the street and park extremely close to other driveways. "
