    "the police and sheriff department are down the block as well as the court house and county jail there is a lot of semi truck traffic because of 2 warehouses the speed limit is 25 mph and these trucks do not follow the speed limit as well as the factory workers driving down the street like it's a NASCAR track there are a lot of children on this block and it's going to take a child getting hit by a vehicle to have the police or sheriff's department patrol more frequently mind you both departments are less than 1 block away"

    "I was born in Belvidere. It is a small town in some eyes but you don't know small till you lived in rural Iowa! I enjoy this town because its just a hop away from Rockford which has a lot of the qualities of a larger city. Its easy to get on the train into Chicago or hop on I90. Its a nice town. Being so near a larger city you get the feel of a small town, the lower cost, and the security but in 15 min you can be in Rockford and can access pretty much any store needed. We also have a great fair! :) I really think Belvidere is a nice area to live! I use to think otherwise and we moved away but eventually we moved back because I realized it was a nice place to live and missing being here!"
