Description

Live in the heart of Boise between downtown and the North End. Located conveniently across the street from the Boise Co-Op, this home is a short walk from the foothills, Hyde Park, and all the entertainment downtown Boise has to offer. Relax on the wrap-around porch, swing open the French doors on moderate-temperature days, and enjoy this 1910-built historic district home. This is a two-bedroom, one-bath home with hardwood floors and all other home costs wrapped into the rent making it more affordable than lower priced rentals after utilities. It has a recently renovated kitchen and a fully fenced backyard with a pet door for pet convenience.

Note: I'm performing renovations so starting to list, but will upload photos upon completing the renovation. You can view the property mid-renovation, and some mid-renovation photos will be uploaded soon.

Accepting 1-year leases with a minimum 680 credit score. You can submit through Zillow or contact me for a free application process. I do not charge a rental application fee, but you must complete the application and include a copy of your credit report that can easily be downloaded for free from your credit card or bank. The signed lease will outline all applicable lease terms, and we will sit down and review it together to ensure both parties are satisfied. Please no offers to advance deposit/sign sight unseen. I have been renting houses in Boise for over twenty years. I will review applications, call to schedule a viewing, and if both parties agree it's a good fit, schedule a lease signing with a secured deposit at the time of signing. This is a no-smoking house. Off-street parking options exist on property at no extra charge. Monthly rent includes all utilities, including water, sewer, trash, power, heating, cooling, and fiber wire high-speed Wi-Fi internet. All you need is your phone plan. This rental has no extra monthly costs besides rent unless the tenant wishes to add amenities. The tenant is to care for the lawn or hire a service if preferred.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources. This description is from July 07, 2025

"Boise is becoming bigger and less safe. Out lying areas are no different than any other place in the USA"
  • Robison.kelli
"Very easy fifteen minute drive to/from work. Mostly interstate with a rare traffic incident. Traffic lights in downtown Boise well timed "
  • Lbanduc
"Very walkable and bikeable to downtown. Great access to foothills trails. Lots of mature trees. Great area if you can afford it. 😢"
  • Trulia User
"Hyde Park is quite wonderful. North End neighbors tend to take pride in their property and maintain their homes and lawns."
  • RS
"I ride my bike or drive into downtown and park a couple blocks from my office. I'm able to ride my bike 9months of the year easy."
  • Trulia User
"Very dog friendly. Great place to walk your dog day or night. I would say people tend to remember your dogs name before your own…"
  • Trulia User
"I walk everywhere. The coop is across the street and downtown is just a few blocks away. Hyde park is also walkable. "
  • Jasmine P.
"The North End of Boise is a great place to live. It’s close to downtown, but feels like a small town neighborhood. "
  • Matthew D.
"parks and small business are key. quiet neighborhood and community pools help out. walk ability is everywhere."
  • Hondo4274
"Depends on where I’m going. Easy access for the most part. Downtown is easy; the mall is close because of the connector. I avoid Fairview and Franklin because of the stoplights and traffic. "
  • Tim C.
"Older unique homes owned by families who care. It's like a Norman Rockwell painting. I love to see children playing and people walking their dogs. Everyone here is very friendly. "
  • Rick
"My commute is to West Boise. 15 to 20 mins. along Chinden. I am 1.5 miles from Hyde Park. And 2 miles from downtown Boise "
  • Deborah P.
"I have lived here a year. Love the neighborhood and the people. A very nice community. People are happy to be here. The homes are all different and pride of ownership prevails."

  • Stellbsk
"I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 2 years, and love calling it home. So much charm, friendly neighbors, lots of families"
  • Skyler P.
"The historic factor. I live here, that's pretty unique. there is a good vibe and good people all around. very active lifestyle and a great place to live!"
  • Lisa c.
"People just fit here - they belong. As long as you're open minded and not too right of center, you'll get along just fine. I love this democratic island in Idaho! Proud to have grown up here. The folks are like the houses - all different. If you move here, we understand it takes about 6 months to get that chip off of your shoulder and then you'll be saying hi, stopping to shoot the breeze and driving slow like the rest of us : )"
