Description

Located near the heart of Greeley, 1002 4th Avenue offers a rare chance to get into homeownership at an approachable price point while creating real upside over time. Set on a corner lot with a detached garage and charming front porch, this 2-bedroom, 1-bath home puts you close to the energy of downtown, local dining, community events, and everyday conveniences. Downtown Greeley continues to be a major focus for public and private investment, with the city’s Downtown 2032 plan aimed at strengthening the area’s role as the center of the region. The University of Northern Colorado also adds to the area’s year-round activity, demand, and long-term appeal.

For buyers with vision, this property presents an opportunity to build equity through updates and improvements rather than paying a premium for someone else’s finishes. With 624 finished square feet, an unfinished basement area for storage, a one-car detached garage, and no HOA, this is the kind of property that can make sense for first-time buyers, budget-conscious investors, or anyone looking for a manageable home with room to improve over time.

It also carries strong rental potential. Its central Greeley location, public utilities, simple one-level living, and proximity to downtown amenities and UNC make it appealing as a long-term rental or investment hold in a city that continues to prioritize housing and growth. Greeley has identified housing access and downtown growth as major priorities, which supports the long-game potential here.
1002 4th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631 is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 724 sqft single-family home built in 1908. It last sold for the $218,000 asking price on Apr 24, 2026. It is currently off market. The Trulia Estimate is $218,100, with a rent estimate of $1,360/month.

  • Hunter Thomas
"The upper side of Greeley has grown immensely over the last 10 years and the newer developments are the best places to live. New homes and slowly getting more and more amenities closer to residential homes."
  • Trulia User
"The only issue I really see with our community is people park in a disrespectful manner. For example, too close to the driveways. "
  • Trulia User
"Work from home. I do not travel for work. My wife works about a mile away, at UC health - traffic gets heavy at times."
  • Mclaffey75
"We walk our dogs daily. There is a beautiful park close to our house. The sidewalks are maintained for the most part. "
  • Georgia P.
"It’s nice compared to a big city and parks and Mountain View’s are never a bad thing. Crime is low in my area and I feel safe... Just wish living here was not so expensive "
  • Kylenebaker7
"There are dog parks close by and lots of walking trails to walk your dogs on most people pick up after their dogs"
  • Kylenebaker7
"Sure there are bike parks, trails and dog parks located throughout the neighborhood. Many neighborhoods are pet friendly and have trash bags to pick up after your pets"
  • Kylenebaker7
"Blues jam and the Greeley independence stampede are what make Greeley great we also have community recreation centers an arts picnic and a performing arts theater"
  • Benjaminsnow4
"We've lived here for 2 years and the neighborhood consists of mostly larger ranch style homes on larger lots, so it has a quiet open feel. "
  • W.tom.willingham
"Several dogs in the neighborhood. All well behaved and always accompanied by a human. Mostly small-to-medium sized dogs. Most often humans are routinely walked by friendly dogs."
  • Sylvia C.
"It’s very quiet and peaceful. I feel safe, there’s plenty of places to walk around and everything is very close "
  • George A.
"Good neighborhood, some home owners are older and salty. The rest of us help each other out and share phone numbers and text. Most neighbors watch out for each other. "
  • Milo L.
"No one cleans up after their dogs or themselves. It’s a really nice neighborhood. Dogs that are here aren’t loud and obnoxious. "
  • Jarodkessler
"It’s a bunch of hard working people that have strong family bonds. People are thankful for what they have and take care of others around them. There are multiple outdoor activities available and plenty of space to have to yourself. "
  • Roy N.
"I see people walking there dogs and I enjoy seeing all the different dogs out and about ! Makes me want to get a dog if my own! I also notice how considerate the dog owners are picking up after there pets do there business "
  • G.morrell
"Good Hospital and lots of medical clinics here and also next to it a Large High school so lots of vehicle and foot traffic. Very near a university and a large beautiful park with a lake. "
  • Roxannembumgardner
"A long commute to Loveland bad traffic most of the time. That’s living on the west side of town to it’s further if you live on the east. "
  • Karley L.
"Dog owners would not like that People don’t pick up their dogs poop when taking them out and there are signs in people’s yards asking not to let dogs pee in the grass "
  • George A.
"As long as they pick up after their pets, I feel they would be fine in any neighborhood. There is alot of people with money her so that means that lawn care providers spray lawns and dont always place signs that lawns were just treated. There are a bunch of puppies so parco has been an issue. That what I've seen living here for 8 years plus."
  • Jasmyn B.
"Short & quick for in town job. Lack of convenient bus transportation. A fair distance for cycling or walking, but doable. Easy access to main highways. "
  • Marcy O. L.
"my neighborhood has character. lots of older homes , but the roads arent wide enuf for two cars to pass eachother"
  • Bigwhitehonda98
"Terrible bumper to bumper and all times of the day takes 30 minutes to get through the light some times "
  • Staci F.
"everyone is nice and laid back and never hateful or rude I would highly recommend this neighborhood never had a problem with anyone "
  • Jasmyn B.
"10 min to anything in Central Greeley. Subdivision entrance is right off the frontage road of Highway 34."
  • Lisa M. G.
"So far, it's a clean city. It's pretty simple to get around. "
  • Jawbone78
"We love our neighbors & the neighborhood. Plan to stay here a while. Close to shopping, parks, schools, work, hospital, church, etc."
  • Katelittle1984
"It’s a quiet neighborhood close to everything you need. Two grocery stores are within walking distance as well as many restaurants and a gym. It’s located by a school though I’ve been told it’s pretty rough there. Great location during the 4th of July. Can walk or drive right over to where they’re shooting off the fireworks. During the winter, it’s relatively quiet and not much neighborhood togetherness but people are typically pretty friendly. There is glass on the street. I suspect from drinking the night before. It’s safe, but I wouldn’t let kids play outside by themselves... "
  • LRM19D
"it is a decent neighborhood. fracking and oil make it hard to feel comfortable drinking tap water. Fracking going on in the neighborhood. "
  • Kaitlyn G.
"It is easy to catch the bus. It’s easier when you have a car but for those that don’t have a car can easily take the bus and normally get to their location quickly."
  • Pyramidking27
"The Neighborhood i live in, would be the ideal neighborhood for someone that wants to live around people, and still have their privacy."
