About this House

Built in 1910, this quaint 4 bedroom home sits on a corner lot, located a short walking distance to downtown Lillington. The home has been completely revamped and boasts LVP flooring throughout, newly painted walls in neutral tones, white baseboards, ornate vent covers and tasteful lighting and hardware fixtures. The home has two full baths, one downstairs and one upstairs. The primary bedroom is downstairs. Take the hand-crafted staircase with beautifully stained steps and black wrought-iron railing to the three additional bedrooms upstairs with roomy closet space including charming peek-a-boo walls. The kitchen boasts a decorative brick fireplace with mantle, original glass-front hanging cabinets and a center island with flat-top range. A microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer and wall insert gas convection oven and a double stainless steel sink with offset chandelier and canned/halo lights complete the cooking area. Located to the left of the back foyer is the "scullery" or utility room with an additional stove/range, freezer, washer and dryer and farmhouse sink with pulley and cable original windows overlooking spacious back yard, complete with a freshly pressure-washed deck, storage barn and a privacy fence. This property has a NO PET policy, however with a well-qualified applicant, the owner may reconsider but owner will have to approve the pet and tenant will sign a pet addendum and pay a $500 nonrefundable pet fee.

Utilities are the responsibility of the tenant: Water, (Town of Lillington), Electricity, (Duke Progress), Gas, (Piedmont Natural Gas - for the convectional oven and forced air heating system), trash removal service and lawn care.

"My neighborhood is basically a retirement community and not many families. I’m always afraid to let my kids play or for the dogs to be too loud. Neighbors are obsessed with their lawns and constantly spraying chemicals."
  • stugolf33
"Great place to live we moved here 2 years ago.. Originally from Massachusetts and moved down for the weather but love the people and the area."
  • Shirlwestbrook
"Our neighborhood has lots of dogs with people walking their dogs everyday. Some dogs are outside while some are inside dogs. "
  • Heathersbutterfly24
"Great walking, always see my friendly neighbors. We don’t have puppy poopy bag stations, so we have to carry dog poop around. Lol. Very welcoming to dogs. "
  • Ryan R.

  • Rmccune
"The area is for the most part dog friendly. We don’t have any dog parks. We have a very good veterinarian hospital in our town."
  • Crystal H.

  • James A.
"30 minutes to work not too heavy in the morning but really heavy in the afternoon when everyone gets off work "

  • Samantha L.
"its a country living style that's calm, quite with open space. it has a small center town with larger city's 20-45 minutes away. people are friendly. great place to escape the big city and settle down or just a place to get away. "
  • Apewillis
"30-45 mins from Sanford, Raleigh, Fort Bragg and apex/Cary... either direction. not too much traffic. country roads mostly. "

"As someone that has actually lived in this neighborhood for a couple of years now, my family loves this neighborhood. How can you top a neighborhood that has 24/7 security, a golf course, lakes, clubhouse, swimming pool, playgrounds, lots of trees, planned community activities and lots of kids? I feel very safe here and can not imagine living anywhere else."
