Please don’t send your kids here please! They didn’t call the police neither the parents about school shooting, I’m glad everyone is safe. But they should let us know when someone in there has a gun on them. As parents we send our kids to school to learn. Not to feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The only people they called was school safety, no parent no LBPD was never called. There no updated information I’m not sure if I’m gonna let my child go to this school anymore

Long Beach Poly is the pride and joy of Long Beach. It is a school that encourages the creativity and growth of its diverse student body from many different backgrounds. All teachers in every pathway are among the best you will ever find. From supporting nearly 4,100 students, all teachers are incredibly helpful and truly want their students to grow not just academically; but provide guidance for building character. All faculty and staff are kind, warm, and truly show what being a Jackrabbit is. Right when you walk into this school, you can tell how the student body and all staff are truly proud to be at Poly and be a Jackrabbit.

I must note that more needs to be done about falsifying information by the upper management. Transparency and honesty are essential for trust, and currently, that trust is being undermined.Overall, Signal Hill Elementary School has significant room for improvement across multiple areas, and addressing these issues should be a top priority for the administration Signal Hill Elementary has potential, significant improvements are needed across multiple areas to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
