About this House

Executive Summary:
Run your own business in or from the comfort of your own home. Nestled in central/northern Michigan and close to many all-sports lakes, rivers, and thousands of acres of recreational state land used for hunting, camping, and miles of ORV trails; this profitable, all season, 10 room motel in Gladwin MI. has hosted travelers comfortably since 1976. Grown year after year, this nearly 1 acre property with 1100 sq/ft attached living space, and a separate, fully furnished, 520 sq/ft studio apartment, is a turnkey operation, with 8 guest rooms having two double beds and two guest rooms having a single queen bed in each; White Star Motel offers cable TV in every room, along with high-speed internet access, microwaves, mini-fridge, and coffee/maker. All rooms have been updated with new windows, treatments, bedding, and furniture. Full housekeeping with an on-site commercial laundry system, and 30x36 garage/workshop, the White Star Motel continues to offer clean, comfortable, and affordable rooms for all our guests. Most of the major infrastructure has also been updated; roof, well, water treatment system, HE boiler, paved parking lot, back-up generator, and a entirely new septic system. The office and 2 adjacent guests rooms were also remodeled in a knotty pine, rustic fashion that our guests really appreciate for the “up- north cabin” feel. The updated reservation system is hosted by WebRezpro.com, giving you access to the same systems used by large chain hotels. Officially brought on-line in 2019, whitestarmotel.com offered a new online booking agent, and boasts it’s Google 4.6 star rating with 110 reviews.
The White Star Motel is a well-established fixture in the community and has been an icon in this area for a long time, it is one of the last surviving businesses bearing the White Star district name. We enjoy seeing new faces and hosting our guests who return year after year. Check out our website, www.whitestarmotel.com or Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/whitestarmotel/ for pictures and info on who we are and what it’s all about. To schedule a showing or for more information my name is Marty; call or text 586-713-5553 for details.

"I love watching the Amish in their buggies. People stop and help when you have car trouble. Lots of hiking nearby."

"Biggest concern is deer. They like to jump out in front of cars. I recommend getting deer whistles for your car. Also, speed limits seem to be just suggestions, as no one follows them. "
