  • Trulia User
"Very fun. Diverse lots of very kind people. So much to eat, see, and do! You will love it. There is a 24hr person on metro booth. That can help you get anywhere "

"Easy commute, very close to trains, Citibikes, mopeds and easy for car service shares to come pick you up"
  • Mrzac83
"amazing neighbourhood if you can afford it. family friendly with loads to do. fine dining at its best. Great transport connections 👌. there's a reason tribeca is the best place to live in nyc"
  • Troy T.
"I can walk to work my office in soho or cabs if needed. Tribeca is very good for subways. There are plentiful Citibikes and the bike paths are getting better. "
  • Lucasj11a

  • Robert K.
"This area is a great place to live but still lacks infrastructure and amenities. It is convenient but does not have a wide choice of schools"
  • Jessica K.
"Canal street gets a little windy but the subway is very easy to get to. The subways nearby lead to central hubs in the city so it’s convenient "
  • Daniel S.
"It’s one of nyc’s best family friendly neighborhoods with great schools, services and restaurants that are family and kid friendly "
  • Natashart
"Great; I walk to work, but there are lots of subway lines, buses and the free neighborhood Connection bus."
  • Daniel S.
"This is one of the very best and most accessible neighborhoods in Manhattan. My commute is an 11 block walk but you can be in midtown in 10-15 minutes and Brooklyn in 10. Couldn’t be easier!"
  • Ryders713
"It’s an accessible area. Iconic New York history. It really does have a neighborhood feel while still maintaining its New York buzz. "
  • Desgilbert
"Love my neighborhoods it’s the best for families but can get pretty sleepy at night. Close to everything we need!"
  • Max.maxcohen
"Dog parks along the water for all size dogs. Pet store on chambers. People are friendly toward dogs on the street. "

"there are a few small parks to take your dog to in the area. also, Battery Park is very close. there are a few dog parks to go to. "
  • Lnichols972

  • Missggnyc
"Good public schools, restaurants, quiet neighborhood and the best for the family to raise their kids in nyc. "
  • Kristina P.
"Dogs are welcomed everywhere there’s even a dog park not too far away. There’s also a few stores you can bring them in with you. Only bad thing is some people don’t pick up after their dogs and that’s gross. Oh and the dogs that meet on the street are usually pretty friendly with each other as well."
  • Dennacthomas
"I’ve lived in my neighborhood for 16 . 5 yrs it’s close to subways and buses a mall shopping area hair and nail place"
  • Doctorheron
"Great family friendly yet hip area. Close to the west side highway bike and running path, which makes me happy! Great restaurants. We have a target and wholefoods (no trader joes’ sadly)"
  • Rbenmaddox
"Architecture, lots of sky which is a bit more than you sometimes get, access to the amazing Hudson River Park. "
  • John D.
"My neighborhood is very, very beautiful"
  • Gmccfc
"I’ve live in the area for 12 years. It’s a great area, and very quiet, but it’s typical nyc. Easy commute to anywhere from here"
  • Liz M.
"Love TriBeCa after growing up in the east village and then living in Soho, TriBeCa is a quiet escape!"
  • penquinbum
"Having lived elsewhere in Manhattan, I've fallen in love with Tribeca. It has everything I need, a great Whole foods to relieve me of my pay check and from what I have been told, an excellent elementary school. My condo is walking distance to work (FIDI) and is convenient to public transit. I live about 5 minutes from the esplanade along the Hudson...I just cross over at Murray and can go walk, sit in the park, or if I ever get up the nerve, play some basketball in all that green space and parks. Lots of restaurants, including 3 decent Irish pubs, also on Murray. It may not appeal to the younger, single folks but we do seem to have lots of young families in the area. NYC is a city of neighborhoods. Tribeca is a great one."
  • Mona A.
"I live here and work nearby. Agree with other reviewers that it is up and coming but not quite there. Its too quiet at night and the restaurant options, though fantastic are too slim! that being said, i love my building and how clean and safe the streets are. The opening of the Smyth Hotel and the W is encouraging."
