"It’s a very seasonal population. Most of the homes are second homes for residents from other counties in NJ & PA & NY. "
  • Tbthea
"The commute is dictated by the summer traffic. But once on the island you can get around easily by bike. "
  • Leslie A. F.
"This area has been under extensive reconstruction since Superstorm Sandy. Beach front area completely restored."
  • Dablaze
"Properties are usually inherited, not bought and sold. Very family friendly, narrow part of the island (few mosquitoes due to the wind gusts!) Easy walk to bay or beach. Restaurant, bakery, bagels, frozen yogurt and surf shop right there! Nice association amenities, coolers allowed on the beach (it matters!)...mostly owners, not too many rentals."
