I am a previous student and i would also like to point out how incompetent it is that most of the friendships your students will make will be severed due to ~1/2 of the school going to Roosevelt And half going to LibertyOther Review9y ago8 Reviews - Redwood Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA school that truly embraces every child and every familyWhen we moved from Turkey, my son didn’t know a single word of English. He started 1st grade here as a complete beginner, and he’s naturally an observer the kind of child who watches carefully before he opens up. From day one, Redwood Elementary made us feel like we weren’t alone in this journey. The level of care and attention we received was something we had never experienced before. Every day we received updates like what he ate, how he was feeling, even a note that he was blinking a lot and they wondered if he’d slept well. That kind of detail tells you everything about how much they truly see each child. The school’s embrace of different cultures and social activities was new to us and something we deeply appreciated. Our son had moments of homesickness, and the school counselor was right there for him and for us as parents. We are endlessly grateful to Dr. Jackson, Mrs. Birman, Mrs. Bradley, Angela, and Mrs. Beutel, who gave their heart and soul to support our family through this transition. No amount of thanks feels sufficient. If you are a family new to this country, or simply looking for a school that genuinely cares. Redwood Elementary is that place.Parent Review1mo ago12 Reviews - Check out schools near 10 Mountain Ave.

"Montclair is a great town with both city vibes and suburban neighborhoods. You don’t have to leave the town to eat or shop or find something to do. The only down side is it can be on the expensive side and sometimes parking is an issue. "

"I lived in Montclair for nine years. It’s a lovely diverse town no issues with crime. Located close to New York direct train. Perfect land of suburban and a city feel. "

"13 min walk to Bay Street train station. Buses are unreliable. Buses are also gross. I wish there were more options for public transit, but it’s very limited. It’s not the worst though."

"Most homes here have at least one dog and most owners and dogs are quite friendly. Technically it is not allowed to let your dog run off leash, but there are a handful of folks who do and they sometimes meet up in the park so the dogs can play together. There are excellent walkers and daycare when you need to travel or work it’s a great place to have a dog or five!"
