7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have a son in 2nd grade with an IEP. We have been very impressed with the quality and care that his team provides. We love that he can be in an advanced group for an area of strength and receive 2:1 special education services for an area of need. I wish there was more community engagement, but overall we have been very happy at Franklin!Parent Review2mo ago - Franklin Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter went to Franklin Elementary and now is going to the Middle School. The school is amazing! The town is pretty small so we know everyone. Everyone in the neighborhood loves both the middle and elementary school. Most parents commute to DC or Baltimore or live in the area as remote workers. It's becoming an affluent area as there is no crime and the school is well funded by property taxes.I don't have a view on the special education but there is a lot of family engagement. The school welcomes parents regularly and includes us in the process.Parent Review5mo ago - Franklin High School

"I have lived in this neighborhood for almost 2 years, it's scenic, quiet, and full of nature. Yes the train runs nearby, but it's quiet-ish and after a week, you barely notice it. Deer and fox are frequent visitors to my yard, as well as many native and migrational bird species. Our neighbors are friendly and helpful, we couldn't ask for a better group, pet sitting, Bar BQs, fire pit fun, you name it."
